New Castle County Councilwoman Stephanie McClellan and Councilman David Tackett will be hosting a community meeting for the residents of New Castle County, to discuss a proposal to increase taxes to fund additional police personnel. The meeting will be held on Monday, October 27th, at 7:00pm, in the Evergreen C Room, at the Newark Senior Center, located at 200 White Chapel Dr. In addition to Councilwoman McClellan and Councilman Tackett, representatives from the New Castle County Executive Office and the Department of Public Safety will be available to address questions and concerns related to the proposed legislation.
