Effective January 1, 2010, New Castle County assumed responsibility of dog licensing. This was mandated by the State of Delaware. Dog owners have until March 1, 2010 to get a county license. Failure to license your dog can result in fines. Licenses can be obtained online www.nccde.org/doglicenses. Here you will find information about license fees and a link to PetData, Inc., the vendor who will be issuing the licenses. At this same website there is a list of locations where you can purchase licenses locally.
